Custom4Kids has a vision to be your one-stop shop for all of your kids customised and personalised school and gift needs. We want to bring the individual characters out of our small customers.

We started in late 2012, first by creating unique gifts for friends and family when the little people we adored started pre-school and then little-big school. But when word got out about our in-house designs and Australian-sourced quality products, orders started piling in! It became obvious that our creations were popular among the local mummy groups, so we created Custom4Kids to cater for the bigger community, and to showcase all our products and ideas in one place.

Custom4Kids is run by a small team hoping to juggle the small business with full-time work, school and family commitments. Even though we're busy, we also enjoy making customised items for our customers to enjoy.

Our characters are all designed in-house by our talented team members, so you won’t be able to find them anywhere else. However, we do aim to release new characters and collections every few months to keep the kids hip and fresh for the new season, and likewise with our products. We continually source the best price and quality to ensure our customers (the big and little ones) are satisfied.

Who are you?

We're some big kids excited to take on little kids products!

What do you do?

We make customised and personalised products for kids. And we're getting very good at it!

Where are you located?

At the moment, we’re based in tiny PO Box 3166, Regents Park, 2143, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, Third Rock From The Sun. We hope to eventually move out into a bigger box. 

How do I get in touch with you?

Unfortunately, we do not have a phone line where you can call for immediate assistance. But send us an email at hello@custom4kids.com.au and we’ll endeavour to get back to you within a day. 

Where do you get your designs?

We are proud to say that most of our designs are created in-house by our very talented team members, with some outsourced to freelancers (we like to help young budding designers!). If you are interested in a custom image, get in touch and we'll get back to you if we can help.  

Can I use my own artwork?

Of course! Email us a high quality image of what you would like printed and we'll let you know if it is possible. 

What payment options are available?

We accept PayPal and Credit Card payments which provides buyer and seller protection. 

A PayPal account is not required to use PayPal; they allow quick and efficient guest checkouts for one-off transactions. 

Do you deliver internationally?

We can, but we haven’t set up our website to reflect that yet. We’re still growing, so if you’re from overseas, send us an email at hello@custom4kids.com.au and we’ll work out a price for you. 

How long does delivery take?

Our products are made to order, so production starts almost as soon as money is received (and if we get permission for time off from our kiddies!) . Dispatch usually happens within a week of completing the product. We will email you when this happens to keep you in the loop.

What shipping methods are available?

We will ship most of our products via Australia Post or private courier services.  

What are your shipping costs?

Our shipping costs incorporate postage and packaging fees. Packaging fees helps us cover the costs of materials used to ensure your package gets to you in the best condition.

Can I cancel my order after it has been placed?

Even though we are sad to hear it, we do accept cancellation if it is done so before printing begins at our workshop (and this period varies from day to day), and a 50% cancellation fee applies. Unfortunately, after the printing process has begun, we will not accept cancellation unless the customer forfeits 100% of the payment.  

What is your returns and refund policy?

Please note that colours or positioning of customised labels shown here may differ from the final product due to different monitor resolution, settings and light, and labels shown are only an approximation.

However, we promise to source good quality designs and products to bring to our little customers.

Returns are not accepted for customised or personalised products, due to:

1. errors made from incorrect typing and spelling from the order;

2. change of mind;

3. normal wear and tear, or abnormal customer use.

There are so many unique and special names, and variation of names from creative parents that it is not possible for us to know if a spelling is a mistake. We stress that customers need to check spelling of names before submitting an order.

All our products are made-to-order according to customer specifications and therefore are one of a kind. Unfortunately this also means we are not able to accept returns due to change of mind.

Damage or faults due to normal wear and tear are normal. But we strive to source quality materials from Australia and overseas that would mean the signs of small wear and tear won’t even happen until a long, long time.

However, in the rarest chance that a defect does occur due to production fault, we will gladly accept the return of the product with the original receipt for a quality inspection. The item can be posted back to us or arranged for a local drop off with one of our Team Members. Postage costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

If it is obvious to be a fault of ours, we will gladly replace the item and delivered to the customer at no extra cost.

We base our policy on the advice from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (1 January 2012): “Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.”

What is your warranty policy?

All our products come with a one-year warranty from date of purchase. The order number must be supplied as proof of purchase. This can easily be retrieved when you log in to your account and view purchase history. 

What is your privacy policy? 

We treat privacy very seriously, and will not share your personal details with third parties without your consent.

Is your website secure? 

Most definitely. Our store's shopping cart incorporates an 128-bit SSL certificate that keeps all check-out information safe and secured from third parties. It is the same level of encryption used by most banks around the world. 

Can you do adult designs as well? 

Yes.

Are you hiring at the moment?

It’s a tiny team at Custom4Kids, so if we ever grow beyond our single-room office, we will definitely be looking to hire more creative minds to join our team.
